Interlocking mat sets

Description

These interlocking rubber stable mats are made by Animat, a Canadian company with over 30 years experience in designing comfortable, hygienic and durable rubber flooring for animals.

The mats are made from the same material as our straight edge mats and:

• Reduce slips, injuries and stress on joints.
• Save on bedding costs and mucking out time.
• Are warm, dry and dust-free.
• Are ideal for stables, walkways, wash down and exercise areas.

Long lasting

The mats are 18mm thick and weigh 40kg each. Made of high density, heavy duty, 100 % recycled rubber they come with a 7 year manufacturers warranty.

Unlike some cheaper rubber and EVA mats, they give a smooth fit with no bending or curling and the interlocking edges leave no gaps to trap dirt. The mats will not move, spread or need turning. You can expect them to last at least 15 years with normal use – five times longer than the cheaper options.

Expert design

Animat mats have a non-slip, easy-to-sweep amoebic finish and channels underneath. They can safely be laid on most types of floors. Designed by experts to provide just the right level of support for your horses’ legs – neither too soft nor too hard.

Sizing

We supply the mats in stable packs which lock together like a jigsaw to make a single, solid straight edged area. All the packs cover an area 12 feet (3.6m) wide and lengths from 12 feet (3.6m) to 24 feet (7.2m).

The available pack sizes are:

• 12′ x 12′ (3.6 x 3.6m) – 6 x 6ft  x 4ft mats
• 12′ x 14′ (3.6 x 4.3m) – 6 x 6ft x 4ft mats + 2 x 6ft x 2ft mats
• 12′ x 16′ (3.6 x 4.8m) –  8 x 6ft  x 4ft mats
• 12′ x 18′ (3.6 x  5.5m) – 8 x 6ft  x 4ft mats + 2 x 6ft x 2ft mats
• 12′ x 20′ (3.6 x 6.0m) – 10 x 6ft  x 4ft mats
• 12′ x 24′ (3.6 x 7.2m) – 12 x 6ft  x 4ft mats

If your stable is between these lengths, you can buy the next size up and cut the mats to size.  For  example, for a 15′ long stable you will need a pack of 8 mats.

Once laid and interlocked the area covered by the rubber is slightly smaller than these dimensions.  You can see the layout and exact sizes here.

Due to the interlocking, you can’t add mats to increase the width as well. If the stable is not a standard size consider using our straight-edged mats instead.

Delivery

We deliver the mats using a pallet service, usually within 2 -3 working days of you placing the order. We will call you to let you know when to expect them. Please let us know if you have any specific delivery requirements when you place the order.

Fitting Service

You can fit the mats yourself using a sharp Stanley knife to trim them to size if necessary. Alternatively, we can provide a fitting service in many areas including the Midlands, the South West and South Wales. Contact us for availability and a quote.

These mats are also suitable for gym floors and workshops.  They can provide a shock absorption up to 25 times higher than concrete which helps reduces risks of injuries and protects most types of equipment and floors. Stable Mats for Dogs, Goats and Other Animals

The stable mats will provide a insulating, supportive, non-slip floor for housing other animals including dogs, goats and alpacas.
